I still need to gather a bunch of mushrooms and plan things out to get the perfect set of numbers--and sometimes need to plan out several generations in a row!--so the effort still feels rewarded. It is more of an 'active' breeding system than past games. Less waiting, less RNG, more gameplay.

First I gotta say I love this game! Also I have probably not yet explored absolutely everything since it's a bit confusing still to me with the waking wolrd+dream world, but to the problem. I was excited and was roaming the area with the elevators and didn't read the quest book (oops) and didn't take the second bucket to the north.

using the empyrean variant instead of the Mudborne Gameplay normal variant makes Pondmother cutscene stuck on only you going up instead of also the hat guy, even though the pondmother accepts the sleeping variant

(if you're trying to use them to open Northern Pool you should instead look at INVERSE N along with the earlier mushrooms)
